Built by a Software Engineer Who Lived the Construction Reality
From $700,000 in debt to 60+ simultaneous projects and $12M in revenue. Then he sold the company and kept the software.
How WFP Was Born
The Story
Before WFP, before Pool Perfection, Shai Egosi spent two decades building enterprise software systems across the United States and Latin America. The story below picks up the moment that engineering background collided with a struggling construction company and produced the platform that runs WFP today.
The Tech Career
Two Decades of Enterprise Software
Shai Egosi was recruited by Intermedia Communications and rose to lead IT as the company grew from 50 to 5,000+ employees before its acquisition by MCI. Stints in Miami, Nicaragua, and Panama followed, managing enterprise call centers and developing proprietary software at scale. Decades of enterprise IT experience across multiple companies and geographies. Not a construction guy who learned to code. A software engineer who later acquired a construction company.
The Acquisition
$700,000 in Debt. Zero Pool Experience.
In 2018, Shai's wife was exploring pool options for their home. He was introduced to the struggling owner of Pool Perfection. What started as a loan conversation became full ownership of a company $700,000 in debt. "I had no idea how to build a pool, but I knew how to build a business." He applied a startup mindset immediately: digitizing every process, introducing customer kickoff meetings, implementing real-time project tracking, and replacing paper with systems. The construction reality hit hard, and fast.
The Software
No Existing Tool Could Handle This
Permits expiring across municipalities. Inspections gating every phase. Subcontractors with lapsed insurance. Customers who deserved real updates. Draws that needed perfect timing. Thousands of details that could not slip. No existing construction management software could handle the actual complexity. So Shai built WFP from scratch, drawing on decades of software engineering experience. Every feature exists because it solved a real problem, not because a product team thought it sounded good. The Transformation
The Results Were Undeniable
Under Shai's leadership, Pool Perfection cut average build time from 4 to 6 months to under 8 weeks. The company maintained 60+ active projects simultaneously. Revenue grew to nearly $12 million by 2024. Five-star reviews became the norm. Subcontractors started requesting to work with Pool Perfection over other builders because every work order arrived with blueprints, specs, and clear instructions. Pool Perfection was successfully sold in July 2025, the ultimate validation that the transformation was real, and the business was worth acquiring.
What the Platform Produced
Six numbers from a real construction company
These are not projections or industry benchmarks. These are the results of one construction company running its entire operation through WFP for years before it was ever offered to anyone else.
This Was Not a Construction Guy Who Learned to Code.
Shai Egosi's software career spans decades. He led IT at Intermedia Communications as it grew from 50 to 5,000+ employees before its acquisition by MCI. He built proprietary software systems across Latin America, managed enterprise call centers in Nicaragua and Panama, and developed technology infrastructure for companies operating at scale. When he built WFP, he brought enterprise software engineering discipline to a construction-specific problem.
WFP is built by a core team of 3 developers plus AI assistance, with Shai driving the product vision, the interface design, and the business logic directly. This is not a bloated team throwing features at a wall. It is a focused engineering effort where every module exists because it solved a real operational problem at Pool Perfection, then survived 60+ simultaneous projects before being offered to anyone else. The 14 integrated modules reflect that discipline.
The platform exists as two products: a web application (the command center for detailed project management, subcontractor compliance, financial oversight, and reporting) and a phone application for field-ready communication, document access, and critical field activities. Both are under active development.
Our Mission
Built for the next
ten thousand builders.
WFP is not an internal tool we decided to share. It is a commercial product, sold by Egosi Inc, validated by paid use inside our own construction operation before it was ever offered to anyone outside the company.
We are extending the platform to every builder ready to operate at a higher level. Pool builders first, then general contractors, then any vertical that needs a real operating system instead of a patchwork of disconnected tools.
WFP is not the cheapest. It is the most operationally complete construction platform available, built by someone who ran the operation, proved it worked, and now wants to help others get there too. See how WFP is priced for why the flat monthly rate is a deliberate position, not a concession.
A Real Product
Sold by Egosi Inc. Paid for and validated inside our own construction operation before anyone else ever touched it.
Built To Extend
Pool builders first. General contractors next. Every construction vertical that wants out of patchwork tools.
Operationally Complete
Not the cheapest. The most complete. Built by an operator, for operators ready to level up.
The People
The Team Building WFP

Shai Egosi
Founder & CEO
Software engineer and tech executive. Led IT at Intermedia Communications from 50 to 5,000+ employees. Built enterprise software across the US, Nicaragua, and Panama. Acquired Pool Perfection in 2018, ran it to $12M revenue, sold it in 2025. Built WFP because nothing else worked.

Natan Egosi
Marketing Director
Former marketing director at Pool Perfection. Now operates as an independent outsourced marketing director for WFP, bringing direct experience from inside the construction operation that created the platform.
A focused team building with intention, not a large organization shipping features for the sake of a roadmap. Every module in WFP reflects Shai's direct experience managing construction operations at scale.
Third-Party Validation
In the Press
Tampa Bay Business and Wealth Magazine, August 1, 2025
“I felt personally committed to the people who bought pools from Pool Perfection. I'm going to build your pool! End of story. I don't care what happens; I'm $700,000 in debt now, but we're going to figure out a way to make this work.”
